  • BBC Kids Science Online (UK) - DynaMo's Lab Quizzes, games and projects for 5-9yrs. Bitesize Activies & Quizzes for a variety of Science strands for 7-11yrs.

  • Early Childhood Environmental Education Network (NSW)
  • EcoKidsStarted in 1994, EcoKids is a free, environmental education program that offers curriculum-linked materials and activities for Canadian elementary schools to engage in environmental action. (From the website).  The site is interactive and includes games and activities, homework help a blog and contests. Children are encouraged to become environmental stewards. Teachers can register to access teaching materials.
  • EngQuest - a program of Engineers Australia. Free interactive engineering based DMA project program - aimed at achieving key learning outcomes. 
  • Funbrain Science games (US) - A range of games to suit various Primary age students.
  • Geoscience Australia - they provide a range of education resources (from the Topic menu in the LH column), plus mapping products
  • Google Earth (US) - Free download - Incorporates multimedia information from National Geographic, NASA and Wikipedia, as well as advanced features like real time seismic monitoring, video tours of historic & geographically significant sites, conservation information, quizzes and 3D building models.

  • K-8 Science Education Resources (US) - produced by the American Chemical Society

  • Microbial life educational resources (US) - has a focus on marine biology
  • Murder under the Microscope - an online environmental game for school students in years 5 to 10. From 29 April 2009 the Catchment Headquarters website will be live. In the weeks that follow, clues will be uncovered.

    Once the game begins, teams of students will research and analyse the evidence to solve the crime. The project culminates with the students submitting a plan to protect the environment.

  • Primary Games (US) - A listing of games and their age appropriateness and topic relevance.
