The following websites have gathered resources - across a broad range of subject areas. You need to navigate within them, to locate your topics of interest.

 

  • Sites2See - a wonderful collection of quality sites, collected by the NSW DET Centre for Learning Innovation. Browse each KLA, or look at the 'lists' - saved in delicious. 



  • ABC Education Resources - a great collection of materials, provided by the ABC (in a range of formats)  
  • Aussie Educator - a collection of resources, by levels, areas and topics.
  • Australian Curriculum Resources - digital learning resources from the NDL Resources Network
  • Cyberschool - selected, high-quality internet sites relating to each of the key learning areas in the Queensland curriculum. Provided by the University of Queensland Library
  • Edutopia - a collection of resources. Browse by grade level, or explore the other links on the page. There are a series of useful 'classroom guides' freely available. 
  • GEM Gateway to Educational Materials  - provides a range of resources and learning activities. Either search on a topic  (eg. rainforest lesson plan)  or click on Browse the Catalogue.  It's easiest to browse the subject area of interest. When the full list of resources is displayed, use the options in the right-hand column to narrow the results - by topic, by level, by type ....
  • Homework Help - links provided by the State Library of Queensland
  • Internet Public Library - a subject gateway for all ages, which aims to be 'a public library of and for the internet community'.
  • Kids Click! - subject gateway of sites for children, selected by public librarians in the USA
  • LearnAlberta - a selection of resources from the Government of Alberta. Limit your search to KLA / grade / media format / learning resource 
  • Netlinks - a site provided by the State Library of Queensland. Under Education/Training check out the link for Teachers
  • Social Sciences InTute - subject portal 
  • Thinkfinity - explore the Browse School Library Resources section (by Themes or Subjects). There are an interesting selection of resources suggested, including lesson plans and activities.  
  • What Works Clearinghouse - topic areas
